STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING FIRM : EASTERN ENGINEERING GROUP
Eastern Engineering Group undertook the extensive structural engineering for this groundbreaking project, which encompassed the intricate process of demolishing an existing eight-story control tower and an attached three-level support building. This was followed by the construction of a new eight-story control tower located at 111 East Airport Drive in Columbus, Ohio, serving the Rickenbacker Inland Port. The superstructure was predominantly comprised of precast concrete panels and hollow core slabs, while the substructure boasted a shallow Mat Foundation.
