NOA Approval process

These services are available to manufacturers of construction products and assemblies seeking to obtain approval of their products as established in Section 8-40 of the Miami-Dade County Code.
Services include the review of the technical documentation (tests reports, engineering analysis, installation procedures, etc.) provided by our customers to verify compliance with the Building Code. Our services also include Quality Assurance of the manufactured products or the manufacturing process.
The fees for this service are as follows:

•    Submittal for first time Product Approval – $4,000.00 Valid for 5 years, includes quality assurance through the approval period.

•    Revision to active Product Approval – $1,500.00 Does not extend the expiration date of the approval.

•    Renewal – $1,500.00 Valid for five years, includes quality assurance through the approval period.
