Restaurants in Miami You Have to Visit if You’re in the Design Industry!

There’s nothing better than a fun night out on the town! Catching up with loved ones over a mouthwatering meal, and sipping on some deliciously paired wine. Whether its date-night, girls-night-out, a birthday dinner, or any day worth commemorating (like it’s Friday, and we’ve successfully made it through another week!), restaurants have become a staple go-to, for celebrating these occasions. Luckily in South Florida, we have INCREDIBLE options for restaurants that offer remarkable ambience and design details that are just as stunning as the featured menus themselves!  So in case you’re in the area, here are some restaurants in Miami that are a must-see! Including an award-winning hotel; which is fittingly home to spectacular award-winning restaurants within! Especially if you’re in the design industry- you will truly appreciate every last intricate detail and thought that went into the design of these stand-out restaurants in Miami.

Kosushi

The architects at Studio Arthur Casas monumentally succeeded in their desire to create “a new world” with the creation of Kosushi Miami. The atmosphere at Kosushi offers customers the “experience of Japanese vernacular architecture combined with contemporary references“. The restaurant’s design was inspired by Japanese carpentry, or more particularly the “art of joinery”. The Art of joinery specifically focuses on “creating wooden structures with complex joints without the use of glue or metal supports“. And when it comes to architecture, you can see why this can be a particularly challenging job. Yet the design of this restaurant in Miami is the most stunning intricate assemblage of wood-work you may ever see in your lifetime. Kosushi Miami is like stepping into a futuristic light oak toned maze of cubes that stretches from wall to ceiling. It is a total sensory experience from start to finish!

Hutong

Norberto Rosenstein Architect- AKA: the team we have to deliciously thank for developing 60 Florida Cold Stone Creamery locations…created an exquisite one-of-a-kind design for Hutong Miami. This restaurant in Miami comes complete with a 70-foot long wall of hand-carved Chinese wood doors and panels. In fact, these doors actually pulsate at night and include an incredible color light display! This upscale restaurant has already won awards for its locations in Hong Kong, New York, and London. This one-of-a-kind restaurant in Miami offers fiery Northern Chinese cuisine that will leave you coming for more!

SuViche Doral

SuViche is a popular restaurant in Miami. With five locations, and a feature at Marlin’s Park, SuViche delivers a vibrant and delicious mix of Japanese and Peruvian flavors. Saladino Design Studios brought a design to the Doral location that is a perfect representation of the restaurant’s bursts of flavor and color. Incorporating rope swings into the design added a playful touch customers continue to enjoy. While the use of colorful rope inspired by traditional Peruvian materials, precisely hung on the walls and ceiling brings a bright welcoming atmosphere that instantly brings a smile to your face. The ceiling features hanging planters and wicker light fixtures. More hanging swings line a wall full of floral artwork with a green moss sign that reads “Let’s get Saucy!” Between the bold flavors of the food, unique swinging seating, and colorful cheerful atmosphere, SuViche Doral has made our list of must see restaurants in Miami.
